Our April potluck will be Sunday, April 19. Fellowship begins at 5:30 pm and supper starts at 6 pm. There are lots of great cooks on our mountain, and there is always plenty to eat so plan to come and bring your friends. We regularly have folks from Eagle Lake, Slick Rock, Becky Mountain, See Off Mountain, Cedar Mountain, and Rich Mountain, and we are glad to see you no matter where you live, so don't be shy. Bring your own plate and utensils so we can reduce our landfill waste.

Chuck Owenby, Transylvania County Sheriff, will be our guest speaker the evening of April 19. Chuck was born and raised right here in Transylvania County, and graduated from Brevard High School in 1994 and secured a BS in Sociology from Mars Hill with a heavy concentration in Criminal Justice. Chuck began law enforcement work in 2002 with the Transylvania County Sheriff's department. Serving in numerous and increasingly responsible leadership capacities, he was elected sheriff in 2022 and re-elected in 2026. Chuck provides exemplary leadership and is well respected by his Team and those who know him well. He will be answering questions and addressing topics that impact residents of See Off Mountain and beyond. Please plan to join us!
